During her term in the mayor's office, Morman has helped bring a gas/service station to the small city on U.S. Highway 19, some 16 miles south of Albany, helped pave the way for a new restaurant in the city, used special-purpose local-option sales tax funds to upgrade and beautify City Hall, helped initiate a kids' health fair in the community and was instrumental in starting a program that offers educational and healthy activities for senior citizens in the community.
